PayPal joins Creditum in crypto trading
PayPal account owners in the USA can now officially buy, sell and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin.
At the moment purchases are limited to $20,000 per week, which is double the amount originally announced by the payments provider. The media says that PayPal account holders will be informed about the new service in the next few days, including the news that no fees are being charged on any crypto transactions until the end of 2020.
These features are also set to be unveiled globally at the beginning of 2021, and the payment platform’s 26 million merchants will soon be able to accept crypto as a payment method, too.
